K LAB by ERNESTOMEDA- A Leader in Luxury Italian Kitchen
The latest project by Ernestomeda, K Lab Kitchen model has been conceived and designed by the Giuseppe Bavuso – an Architect and Designer, who is known for his minimalistic designs. The K Lab consists of an informal, dynamic style to form “cult” element. The project is based on the contemporary kitchen line and latest technology. This luxury modular kitchen model has strong aesthetics and elegance characterized by a system of open metal structure inspired by the work tops found in industrial Kitchens. The dynamism of steel finish combined with marble surface responds well to the functional needs of the user.
The K Lab line is a smart modular kitchen which is customized to provide new materials and variants: the Platinum, Graphite and Onyx Metallix finishes, the smooth Nordic Oak, open pore Black Oak, and Smooth Heat Treated Oak veneers, the elegant silver back painted diamond-patterned glass for the frame doors, the new Nexus door with shaped handle profile, and the exclusive Ernestomeda Zero Gloss™ lacquered finish. The K System is also customized with pull out fittings like drawers, or fixed element such as shelves. The alternation of Solids and Voids, central key to the design of these kitchens, ensure that each detail is taken care of and nothing has been left to chance. The magnificent example of this is the Nexus aluminum door handles which is available in “Metallix” (Platinum, Graphite, and Onyx) or “Lacquered”, the finish developed through latest technology by Ernestomeda for metal surfaces. This technology allows to maintain the original metal effect with it’s high anti – corrosion characteristics.
The range of Lacquers along with the Flat and Glossy finish, has an inclusion of Ernestomeda Zero Gloss. This characteristic of lacquer is a result of a complex research and laboratory test, which responds well to wooden surface to achieve an opaque, soft and elegant surface. The wooden variants of this project come in Nordic Oak, Black Oak, open pore veneers and heated Oak. The new variants in the range consists of Stone + Cervino Tarmac, the Sky Gray Marble in a semi-gloss finish and the Calacatta gold Marble in a matt polished finish in the in the stone, marble and granite category.
The special feature of the K Lab modular kitchen has an open system which is projected in base, column, wall units and island hood. The K Lab work area ergonomic structure comes with removable as well as fixed shelves. The K Line is designed to accommodate ovens, shelves, drawers, wall units such as glass shelves which can be customized in various finishes such as Metallix, Zero Gloss and Flat matt lacquered colors.
The Dual cooking and washing monoblock of the K Lab system is equipped with a front control hob. The Gourmet hob is available in built-in or welded version with integrated controls. The Vertina Show framed doors of this range are available in lacquered Titanium aluminum, with Nordic Oak veneer and transparent diamond glass and concealed hinges and a push-pull opening. There is a surf system available for drawers and specific space for storing spices, knifes, plastic wraps, capsule and waste bin holder. This storage facility makes the K Line versatile for meeting various daily requirements. The final feature of K Lab kitchen is it’s elegant wine cellar which fits seamlessly and ensures that each space of this range is used optimally and efficiently.
